My Profile Is Me, But Not Me....

So if you go under my profile, It's all my stats and stuff, but the avatar, and the profile link is not me.... Can that get fixed by chance?

I spoke with Acorns about the profile issue and here's his response:

Anyway, I can't change Portal to reflect his profile, or unrelate the two, at this point. They both have valid claims to the name, and my system doesn't have a way to seperate them. Its something I can work on at some point... but likely no time soon. If he changes his name to something not in the Portal database it would instantly pick him up as a new player. But thats kind of a sucky compromise. And he'd have to guess a name not yet in the Portal db

Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done on our end to change this.

So if I change my name, it will fix itself? Or does the other person it's associated with have to change their name?

From what I understood, yes, if you change your name. But it has to be a name that hasn't been tracked through portal (in other words, a name that hasn't ever made it onto the fishing boards or tied to another fisher).
