Big changes are coming to Extended Stats! I got some time recently to work on it, and here's an alpha release:

http://sigmajargon.googlepages.com/exte ... 0a.user.js

Completely rewritten. It should have everything 2.05 has, except that it has no connection to the Portal or Unofficial Scoreboard. Instead, it tracks a fisher history for every fisher on the scoreboard. Simply click on a username, and it'll bring up everything it knows. If it has recorded activity in the last 20 minutes, it'll show the fisher in blue.

It's alpha because I have a billion billion things I want to change with it. There are some features which are only half-enabled, and it will take quite some rewriting to enable filtering out fishers and polling from the stats page and all sorts of other wonderful sugary goodness. But I'll be hammering away at it.

Hmm, maybe it's just me, but nothing is showing up, it's stripped the old version though, so now I just see the regular stats.

I notice no difference at all. My extended stats still work the same way (score difference since last time I viewed the page, score difference to next person on the board, potential Durem fish, inofficial scoreboard etc). Maybe I need to remove the old version manually?

Really? I tried reinstalling 2.05 and then installing 3.0a and it had no problem. Same with completely uninstalling and reinstalling the script entirely. ><

Well, I'll poke it a little more. If you can get it to work, it'll look a bit like this.

What I think we're experiencing is that the special features don't work on the normal stats page. I never even bothered opening up the mode=all page when nothing showed up on the default stats.php page. I haven't tried again either, 'cause honestly I'm fine with the older version that I'm currently using and I don't know if this newer one has the uber big opt in board on it or not. Personally I'm a fan of the numbers. I like the blue highlight like the portal, but not enough to have the opt in board taking up space between the boards and my personal stats.

On another note, how does the extended stats stuff track all this? Is it just basically tied to the portal, calling it's info and projecting it onto the main stats page or something?

This new version won't have the unofficial scoreboard intrude on the normal stats - it'll be on a different page entirely once it's in. mode=unofficial or somesuch. And this should've worked on the normal and full stats page.

It's tracking it all locally. Greasemonkey scripts can save data between page loads. I was using it before just to save the previous score in each lake, which is how I could calculate that score change. Now it's a bit smarter, and can save any number of entries for a fisher. It isn't connected to the Portal in any way; it's kind of a mini-Portal that runs only when you reload the page.
